HIGH TEMPERATURE BRAZING
High Temperature Brazing uses vacuum or protective atmosphere furnaces to join complex assemblies made in stainless steels or other high alloy base materials. The technology is used for the manufacture of heat exchangers used in diverse applications, in the manufacture of gas turbines and in the automotive sector for the manufacture of catalytic converters and exhaust gas recyclers.
LSN Diffusion manufactures a comprehensive range of high temperature brazing filler metals including nickel, cobalt and iron based alloys and in powder size distribution ranges to suit how the filler metal is applied.
The powders are made by inert gas atomization to meet international standards or formulated to customer specifications.
LSN Diffusion offers an alloy powder development service (under confidentiality agreement where required) and can manufacture small quantities for customers R&D projects.
Powdered high temperature brazing filler metals may be applied to components as pastes (powder mixed with a water based binder) using extrusion, stencil, printing and spraying techniques. LSN Diffusion has vast experience in formulating pastes and working with equipment makers and end users to optimize paste rheology for each application.
